Much to my surprise, apparently Semper Reformanda has been added to the blog roll over at The Declassified Adoptee. To say I’m shocked would be an understatement. And now I’m starting to receive a respectable amount of traffic from the aforementioned blog, so I thought that at least a “Howdy” was in order, and perhaps a wee bit more.
For those of you who are new, this blog is generally dedicated to all things theological. I know that many of you will likely find some of the content here dry, and the arguments a little like arguing over how many angels can dance on the head of a pin. However, these seemingly dry topics are my life’s blood. They’ve helped maintain my sanity through a lot of wretched years.
For the most part, I don’t really post about adoption all that frequently. I’m almost certain that prior to this past week, I’ve never posted a series on adoptee rights, despite being a card-carrying member of Bastard Nation for nearly a decade. One the spectrum that Amanda posted about here, I was pretty much a 5: one of those adoptees who had (sort of) moved past the militancy to finding peace. Or so I thought until I found out about “Adoptember”, which just pissed me off again.
So to all my new readers, welcome!
I hope you come to enjoy swinging by Semper Reformanda, even if it isn’t your usual cup of tea.
